Bleeding red

For a stunningly brilliant summary of the Right wing's political troubles, listen to Ron Brownstein, Political Director at Atlantic Media, on Warren Olney's April 17 edition of "To The Point."

The whole show is great as always, but I thought Brownstein was dead on. He comes on a little after the 33:30 mark.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: "To The Point" is consistently some of the best news radio out there. Olney is so even in his coverage and well read that he dazzles me every time.

Warren? Baby? Welcome to the short list.

Warren also hosts "Which way, LA?" on KCRW (dot com) which is an excellent show covering news in the southland. I love his voice and manner.

What does a guy have to do to get shortlisted?

Ya, so on your Twitter (cough) feed, I note that the top two entries are 'need a shampoo' and 'time for a conjugal visit'.

Not that this means anything. I'm just saying, is all.

Zen Wizard's Theory: The accuracy of a radio show's political views is inversely proportional to how easy it is to sell advertising on said show.

Example: "Al Franken would love to help you out, but he is busy doing car dealer remotes this week...bah HAH HA HAH HA HA HAH HA!!!"
