sometimes, only sometimes, i want hair like that, gorgeous long thick hair (which i would, if i grew mine out)...and then i remember.
knots.
lost pony-tail holders.
worrying what to do.
that horrible awkward stage between short and long.
and i dont want anymore.
plus, i can get up in the morning, run my fingers through my hair, and i'm good.
but sometimes, just sometimes...i lust after hair like yours.

I'm a ways behind you - mine was brushing my shoulder blades, but I just had 2 frizzled inches lopped off. My hair hasn't reached my waist since I was 10 or 11.

Nice hair, but how do you wash and dry, I have never figured that one out. Figured about everything else out but how to wash really long hair?

Wow. I love all the pix. I might have to propose to Hal if he promises to grow his out again.
I wish I had a pix of when mine was that long but it was never that thick and straight and shiny. It was wild and curly and flew in every direction. I sobbed for an hour when I cut it the first time.
Now I can't imagine growing it out again. It used to take forever to comb through the tangles.
