You don't fool me

I woke to find that the Fool (who is nobody's fool) had posted a lovely review of my book, "Harvey & Eck."

Here is a little of what he had to say:

It’s a love story…but unlike any other. The voice of Harvey is unique. The intertwining of various themes around the art piece Simple Bond displays a stunning bit of craft. And the secondary characters are so memorable - Captain Crunch, the Hub, Webley, Kate - they will all find a place with you. There is no good person, or bad person in this novel - just people; people being real people. There’s no precedent, and the ending will surprise you.

T
hanks Erin – your book is a gift to us all.

I am so taking my pants off.

Here's a sample of the book:

Here's a longer one.

Although it wasn't always the case, you should be able to order the book at any major bookstore. Or it's available on Amazon for about $12.

Or if you'd like a signed copy, send me $20 and I'll send you one, along with a surprise or two.

I am part-way through, and I recommend that people send the $20 directly to O'Brien: the surprises are worth it.

Surprises... Well, I'd send the $20 if I wasn't so afraid of the hands-free prostate stimulator...

$46.97 at amazon.ca!!! Erin, cheque in the mail. U.S. funds, even. Please, no prostate stimulators... ;-)

H'lo Erin. You are so deserving of the review. I've read the book 3 times now...and it really is a wonderful bit of craft. You have every right to be proud.

Follow your pen, dear...it has such a connection to the hearts of many.

I suppose I'll have to order a gift copy from you now just to find out what these little surprises are, eh? Take care, Erin. It's been a pleasure crossing paths.

Mon bon bon Erin,

I am told I am to partake of a game. I have been tagged. I am instructed to pass the tag to my friends. I have few friends, so I am passing the tag to you. Read the instructions on my blog for I have goofed already and posted ten instead of eight, but I don't think I will get punished for it.

Bonjour,

Henri de Montmorency

Dean: The surprises ARE worth it!

Larry: Hold your pants on young man! Perhaps I shall disrobed in the next day or two ... hm ...

White: I think the prostate stimulator might be the most powerful tool ever bestowed upon womankind.

Fool: Three times! Now I'm taking off my shirt and both my socks as well!

**Thank you so much, luv.**

Henri: Just did a similar one a couple of days ago. And your answers are so good, I couldn't begin to compete.

~d: You rock my face off!

Thanks Carla!

I'd say thanks to you as well Williams, but I'm too busy yelling at the Goat, who is out by the birdfeeder with half my goddamn pantry playing around like he just got a brand new Easy Bake Oven!

I love the reading. My vision is for shits. I have your signed copy but it sits on the shelf waiting for better days. Are you going to do an audio book some time soon?
