Which center are you talking about, baby?

"America remains a center-right country," GOP strategist Whit Ayres argues. "They perceive Barack Obama as a liberal, and they perceive themselves as center-right. They voted for him not to support liberal policies but because he represented change."--John King for CNN

Oh really? I mean come on, Whit baby, really?

America is a conservative country that is currently experiencing a Marxist abberation, but mark my words: Theb presidency of Barack Hussein Obama will galvanize conservatives and break the neck of liberal/Marxism in 2010 forever.

The backlash has begun. Listen to Rush and Hannity for the latest.

I love partisanship. It's the next best thing to a nice mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, when the mutton is nice and lean.....

Center-right, center-left - its a lot of hogwash generated by people who really don't know what they are. Left is not now ,nor has it ever been a dirty word. The changes Obama is bringing are pragmatic ones by a liberal ( left) President.

Think of it as the old "toilet flush in Australia" theory: now that the boat is being rowed on the other side, we'll just go in circles in the OTHER direction for awhile. LOL!

The Coriolis effect is measureable, political ideology is not based in science or fact.

From your lips to Allah's (PBUHN) ears.

I Canadian woman once told me: "Don't you know? After the Revolution (ary War), all the Liberals went North and the Conservatives stayed in the States."

Awesome.

Just as long as we replace Andy Jackson with Bill Ayers on the 20 dollar bill we'll be fine, right philbilly? The Indians will certainly love it.

I think you missed my sarcasm, RJ, but what the hell, let's put Chief Wahoo on the 50's. Ayers would spend'em.

I'm a huge fan of Marx;

"Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, misdiagnosing it and then misapplying the wrong remedies."

"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing..if you can fake that, you've got it made."

"How do you feel about women's rights ? I like either side of them."

"I've had a perfectly wonderful evening. But this wasn't it."

Andy Jackson was a psycho, a great battlefield soldier, but we're still paying for his madness in office. How far the Democrats and Republicans have fallen from their historical evolution. Pull the plug.

The Republican Party is dead. They have no plan. They have no morals. All they have is pseudo-intellectual buffoons and losers. And traitors. Is it any wonder the young people flock to Obama? Conservatism will survive, but it won't be called Republican.

Jack Kemp died. Apparently so has his philosophy.
RIP Jack.
RIP Republican Party.

Republicans may just be on the verge of being perceived by the rest of the world as America's version of radical fundamentalists. More exlusive than inclusive, more autocratic than open, more saber-rattlers than diplomatic, more naysaying than....Well, you get the point. And I didn't even get to right- wing Christian fundamentalism yet.
