Phone cam round-up

Friends, Bro-mans, Bumptrymen, lend me your hand ...

... and I shall lead you to the Beer Cave.

Cast your eyes not upon the most terrifying sighting of this All Hallow's Eve season ...

... and instead hail our little green plastic men as they pray to the Wall God.

Swaddle thyself in a hand-knit scarf ...

.. and behold Brian, who hath so aptly evoked the power of the mighty wolf!

Fear not the dreaded Laundromat, with it's terrible innards exposed for all to see ...

... and instead enjoy a pumpkin souffle or a hazelnut coffee.

Take care not to drop your S ...

... else things might end poorly for your noggin.

Relax before the mysterious Squaw Rock ...

... for lastly, be you a Turkey or BONELESS or HOT ...

... this story ends with a bag of plastic, a book of wet and one lorn shoe.

Q: "Say, Erin, who do you like in that Council race?"

A: "Umm...'Lycan' Bob, I guess..."

I thought your stomping ground was fairly prosperous. Why then in these round-ups does it look like the Oakies are moving away.

It seems the metro park folks don't know jack shit about Squaw Rock. How can that be? Mysterious indeed!

Lovely round up.

Who consumes Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreos? Your gentrified or your "Okies?"

Not sure.

In any event, roaring, I'm not sure if your comment indicates I'm doing something right or wrong. Perhaps both. In either event it says something about you--that you are very very far away from America.

We had our first frosts of any significance yesterday and today here in Middle Tenn. Have ya'll had any yet?

I'm miles away. Other side of the Atlantic in fact. But I'd be nearer Chicago, NYC, Florida, California and Hawaii. I've close relatives in those places and you prick an ear when they are mentioned on the news. I know people in Kentucky, Michigan and Indiana. In general though, there isn't a State that I haven't a relative where I could pitch up for a month. Mind you there are some States I'd visit before others and to be frank and perhaps henry too, Ohio is the State I miss when I play that game of naming all 50.
California is blitzing the European TV stations with ad's displaying its various loveliness. That one out of Golden Girls is doing a cameo. You should consider yourself, perhaps, part of Ohio's efforts at grabbing the tourist Euro. :-D

Here's an easy way to remember which of the 'Golden Girls' is doing a commercial: Betty White is the only one who hasn't assumed room temperature.

Here's something Ohio has to offer European travellers that many other places in the US don't: their relatives. Cleveland ranks highly among US cities with large ethnic populations. For instance, it wasn't too long ago that Cleveland was the most Hungarian city in the world save Budapest. (although I am unsure of its current rank.)

Funny how this topic turned to multiculturalism. I just got back from this event. How cool is the Czech Cultural Center? Um ... VERY.

Anyone who would travel around and "pitch up with a relative for a month" is a very special person. I actually have some relatives who don't mind pitching up with me. I call them freeloaders. I think one should keep his pitching up to just a few days.

Here's hoping The Duggar Family pitches up at Bill's real soon.

@ RJ-I try to keep stuff like this in mind to keep Guillermo in perspective. Pops in, insults somebody, and thinks nothing of it.
Cyber-Tourette's syndrome.

MR

PS-that was me with the nationalities comment yesterday. I didn't notice I'd left ID out.

It's great when someone steps up and takes an insult for someone else. Even when no insult was intended, the do-gooder feels sorry for the other person. It's a true liberal trait. It's like the liberal bleeding hearts who are protecting the Native Americans who are not offended by the Washington Redskins. It's so beautiful!
