Missive

Dear Mr. Rove,

On behalf of my fellow Ohioans, I'd like to offer my sincere thanks to you and other Super PAC organizers for the generous influx of stimulus money into this great Buckeye State by way of ad revenue.

Please extend my good wishes and appreciation to the Koch Brothers and your other donors.

Respectfully,

Erin O'Brien

ps: It might sound silly, but some of us around here are even calling you Robin Hood.

Citizens United seems to have been a devious plot to transfer money from conservative billionaires to conservative political operatives.

I think I will always remember Mr. Rove clamoring and clawing for some evidence that Mittsy could still take Ohio after Fox called it for the POTUS. Denial is soooo unbecoming.

I heard that the Koch brothers were also funding the phone calls. I had so many calls--endless automated Mitt and Ann, even late Tuesday. Insane. Inspired me to canvas for Obama, and others too.

But it is nice to see that money can't always buy an election.

But maybe it can buy new glasses. I always screw up the word ID below. Sigh.

Apparently, someone over at CNN saw my post and decided to make a story on the idea.

I think we can agree we wish Karl Rove would just go away.

Karl Rove will dissolve into a pathetic insider political joke, sort of like Alexander "I am in control here" Haig.

The Millenials are in charge now. Let the sun set on the Baby Boomers. Actually heard a rational GOP Strategist discussing this late election eve. She(perhaps that explains her sanity somewhat)said Party ID is entrenched after 3 elections. The Millenials have gone for Dems the last 3 Presidential races. My guess is Marco Rubio will have a cooking show on Univision before the next inauguration.

YES! Yes, RJ! That will be brilliant!

Oh...spoke too soon...

Forgot to add that I bet Marco could get Rachel Ray to be on his show. TRAG could Tivo it!

As the sun sets in the western sky, this baby boomer will put his feet up and sip a Maker's Mark, knowing I am among the last of humankind that grasps the fundamental difference between constant-depression variable-venturi carburetors(Stromberg-SU) and fixed-venturi carburetors(Weber-Holley).

When I need parts, I google the interweb, and if that gives me a problem, I need only to contact the nearest 23 year-old.

The humorous gloating isn't really as irritating as I anticipated. Some serious news will start filtering through now that the President is safe and the press is semi free. No jobs. Amnesty for 14 million. Iran shooting at our drone (before election). Hearings on Benghazi. Human suffering on East Coast. What happened to Syria? Reality returns.

Wow! Jake Tapper just jumped on at least 2 of my points at the WH press conference. When it started getting heated MSNBC cut away to talk with a Dem stratigist. Love to see more of this.

HEY RJ!
Is it my imagination or is there a creature posting on this blog actively rooting for bad things to happen?

Who thinks the only 'serious news' is bad news, and who evidently didn't think a Presidential election was serious news at all?

What sort of sad and demented soul could this be?

I wonder what the middle class dumpster divers, in NJ and NY, would have to say about serious problems The families of the 4 Americans left alone to die while the Pres looked on might have an opinion too. Btw, occasionally I actually laugh at the comments of the initialed ones but, lately they've been a little boring and snarky. Not to mention some outright anger.

Unfortunately, there's a cure...

I do hope the President and the Congress can find a way to fix some of the many real issues facing the country. On the sad note, less than 62% of the registered voters bothered to show up. I have no idea why 38% decided it wasn't important. I wonder if it was because in reality there was not that much difference in the candidates or the parties other than speeches.
