Oh Mittens!

What is it, darling?

Did you own a sour little slice of Solyndra? Or a sweet slice of a company that manufactures emergency birth control pills? Did you donate to a charity that supports (gasp) peace? Perhaps your lil' bag-o-tricks got you out of paying any taxes at all on millions in income.

My goodness, it must be something very very toxic indeed to be a better option than, well, this.

I swear, the suspense is killing me. I hope it lasts.

Do you think the IRS is going through those tax returns, again, with a fine tooth comb? Do you think the accounting firm that did the returns would put their reputation on the line by filing false returns? Do you think Romney gave almost nothing (like Biden) to charity? Do you think paying the required amount of tax and not cheating, is not enough? Do you take all of the deductions to which you are entitled? This will be a non issue in August.

Hm. What's Mittens hiding ... only his hairdresser and John McCain know for sure.

I doubt there is the slightest hint of illegality in Romney's returns, which might be what's so shocking to the average Jane's and Joe's. Perhaps Mittens will write a book, How to Net $30 Million in the United States of America and Not Pay a Dime in Taxes.

Oh, and yes, I do take deductions to which I'm entitled.

Why should I be more concerned about what Romney, or anyone for that matter, does with their money, than what Obama and Washington does with mine?

@ Bill-Yeah because accounting firms NEVER do anything sketchy...umm, that whole "sub-prime mortgages securitized as AAA-rated-debt" aside...And if this is a non-issue in August it'll be because Mitt recused himself because he doesn't want to reveal himself as a tee-total hypocritical tax-avoiding POS...but he's your guy...

The election stuff has yet to cross the Atlantic in any volume. There has been a hiatus since Santorum became a no-hoper and Mitt R became the Rep's rep.
I don't think Europe believes that Obama can be beaten which may be why we've had so little coverage. And then there is the possibility that there is v-little to cover.

Vince: That is interesting. Here, there is nothing but election stuff on the cable news channels and broadcast TV because of the huge news that Mitt Romney made a lot of money and he might have tried to trim his taxes by taking advantage of legal tax loopholes. Did they like Santorum over there? Or was his anti abortion stance the big news that had everybody paying attention?

My last link was from CBS news polling but since no one opens my links..... Hey, I'm still trying to convince people that the world's worst ever of all time never to be repeated, gulf oil spill, didn't actually ruin anything. But, what do I know. I probably heard that from Limbaugh.

People dislike Obama, people dislike Romney, but the fact is...we only have two choices. Vote for whomever you like, but at least vote. We are different, but it's those differences that complement each other, and make us work well together. Personally, I believe we need a third party, but that's not going to happen anytime soon. I'm not a huge fan of Romney, but I'm a lesser fan Obama and his mob. If anyone believes that another 4 years of Obama will be good for them, they're not paying attention. I've never seen this country so divided. Obama is a socialist, Romney is a capitalist. take your pick...while you still can, but you still have to choose. Bashing either of them won't work, we're too late in the game.

Choose wisely, your future will depend on it.

The Third Party exists in the form of swing voters. They drive policy and propaganda. I believe a bonafide third party is only decades away.

@Miss Erin... You know what I mean, I know you do. You're a smart woman. I am in no way trying to start an an argument. Some people believe what they believe, and others believe what they believe. It's a free world for now. I guess we should let the people decide, but they might need a tad bit of education (the Electoral College, and A Constitutional Republic) on before they're allowed to cast. I'm just sayin'. This next election is about way more than Obamacare. You know that. Way more than Obamacare.

You might "hate Romney", You might "hate Obama", but you will have to make a decision. What will be best for our children? Or us? You tell me.

No bog deal, just having a conversation while I'm rearranging my office.
