Sad thing is that there are tons of people that will miss the irony.

It's deja vu all over again.

A year after the crash, a few financial giants are back to making millions, while average Americans face foreclosure and unemployment. What's wrong with this picture?

Erin, tip of the hat to you! You presented it to me hours - half a day - before MoveOn.org had it in my personal (REALLY pay attention) Inbox. Obviously, you're ahead of me in "time", but still . . .

And I'm with your Anonymous RJ (whom I'm not always "WITH"): how many would view this and not even understand that the point is 180-degrees away .......

Thanks for today!

Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,
Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve;
Waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Refrain

Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves,
Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves,

Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,
Fearing neither clouds nor winter’s chilling breeze;
By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Refrain

Going forth with weeping, sowing for the Master,
Though the loss sustained our spirit often grieves;
When our weeping’s over, He will bid us welcome,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves

With apologies to Knowles Shaw (1834 - 1878)

Gee, I'm shocked at the source of this one.

I saw in on the Internet, so it must be true! Still, though, as compelling an argument as these people make, I'm still in favor of sticking it to the bean counters at the insurance companies! Call me irresponsible.

This is funny! Nice twist on the Will.I.Am style videos.

My obligatory note ... to the extent this suggests there are only two choices ((1) make insurance companies rich or (2) support a "public option" health care proposal), that's unfortunate.

The main, significant alternative left out of that equation is getting government out of health care already, an alternative for which there are compelling (in my view persuasive) arguments.

Freedom works better than coercion.

Truth is preferable to lies.

Etcetera...

I meant to say "getting government out of health care COMPLETELY" not "getting government out of health care "ALREADY."

Oops!

Hollywood Dearest,

Your viral, ad-hoc political heart may be in the right place with this satirical piece, but that doesn't make the lot of you any less hypocritical when it comes back to cut into your arti$tic bottom line. So fuck YOU.
