I had to take my kid to an ortho doc when she broke her toe. This was in the exam room. It's a model of a portion of the human spine--at least I"m pretty sure it is.

i hate ollie's. HATE it. i love marc's, gabriel brothers, but not ollies. i think it was the giant bin of religious teen books that i saw when i first walked in...

Dear Girl Reporter Erin,

I like it that in each of your phone cam round-ups, we get to see at least one image of your shoe. In this piece, we get two images.

I don't have a shoe fetish that I know of (? he begins to question self), but it's comforting to see "the detail in the details," as it were. And a shoe can make these postings somehow even more personal.

Keep reporting from yonder North!

Glad you're questioning yourself. It's like those who say, "I'm not a tightass, but..." ;)

Everybody notices something different, and after a while, you begin to "notice what you are noticing." It could be, hey I'm perceptive. Or, it could be something else. I think some introspection is always good -- call it "study of self."

Unfortunately, the people who need it most never get to this point.

She needs to take the shoe off.

You know, I just realized this. I have one pair of shoes (I do, seriously). When my shoes wear out, I buy a new pair. Obviously, I have show envy.

I mean, I figured, why have two pairs (pair) of shoes, when you can only wear one at a time. My whole paradigm is shifting.

"shoe envy," that is
