It is terrifying that people are that ignorant.

The Palin crazy train will be here in Virginia Beach, VA on Monday. My enthusiasm runith over.

Wow. "European Socialist" is a new one. I mean, I've been called a Commie Fag more times than I can count, but Euro-Socialist just makes me want to bust out the brandy and brie.

These people don't even think. I mean, the guy rattling on about ACORN can't name a single reason why he hates them so much. Someone told him to hate, and by golly, that's going to be good enough for him.

If I worked in sales, that whole fucking demographic would be my target. I'd be a billionaire inside of a week if I just went after the registered Republicans in PA.

"...just makes me want to break out the brandy and brie."

Almost fell in the floor laughing.

Christians. They are so compassionate and forgiving.

That makes me so angry I can't see straight.

Oh dear lord...

My question: if protesting indicates lack of employment, are we to therefore believe that McCain is paying those people for their presence and support? Because clearly, they must be employed...right?

I mean, it makes sense to me.

Stolen from Andrew Sullivan. The prayer at the end of the sidewalk.

"O God, we are in a battle that is raging for the soul of this nation. You, O God, have raised up Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin for such a time as this ... Help them, O God, to strengthen our economy, to keep our taxes and spending low ... and grant them the privilege of being elected the next president and vice president."

That was at a McCain-Palin rally yesterday, where both McCain and Palin were present. This is what the GOP has done to Christianity. To paraphrase Woody Allen, Jesus must surely be throwing up.

Comment on this vid from another blog:

So they're playing the 'terrorist card'? It's the highest card, trumps the 'dumbass skank ho' card...we better watch out or these fucks will be in charge.

Provided this election turns out like most of us hope we owe McCain/Palin thanks for the priceless commentary the election has generated. RJ

This is great especially after listening to the Larry King clip with Michelle Obama. It's amazing that we live in the 21st century and people still think and talk like these ignorant people. It's really great to be a Democrat!

I find it hard to believe that they are my fellow Americans.

I wonder if anyone asked these idiots to name anything that Marx wrote, ANY POINT that he made in his Mannifesto...I wonder if they even know who Karl Marx was. They'd probably confuse him with Karl ROVE.

Helen Mansfield said...

Swine: I thought Karl Marx was Karl Rove. I mean, you never see the two of them together ...

I must say that rocky financial and political times have sure translated to great comment sections on these pages. I can't keep up with responses to everyone but I am always here reading and luvin' on all of you.

The level of ignorance and blind bigotry is truly frightening...

I could tell you numerous stories of protests I've been to that would make your jaw drop so hard you'd break your chin.

Being called "a long haired commie faggot at an anti-Gulf War protest in 1991" by a flag waving counter protester in stone washed jeans is one of them.

Being called a "treasonous traitor" simply because I was there is another. That same guy went on to tell me that I was spitting on the troops just by being there observing.

Unbelievable!
