Mrs. Green Bean

I flip for Jelly Belly jelly beans. They rock my face off and I love it. I mostly go for the fruit flavors, but I also love sizzling cinnamon. Today is St. Patty's Day, so I only put green beans in the pic even though I have others here (boy, do I!). The dark green ones are jalapeƱo.

woot!

If you have time to stop by a very sweet spot, I recommend The Candy Blog, which is always just perfect all the time.

And here is an Erin classic that is perfect for today.

Loved your classic blog - for years I've been trying to remember how to make those gum wrapper chains. Do you? Diane

i have been known to put up fisticuffs over pear flavored jelly bellies.

too bad they don't come in clamato flavor (blech.)

i also loved the "classic" post! i too was the only kid on the block to not go to church on sundays. i tagged along with friends and wanted to take communion too!

years later, when my grandfather had a stroke, he suddenly decided i needed to be catholic like he was back in yugoslavia.

i found myself in that after school CCD/ PSR weekly class and was horrified to find out you couldn't ask questions, and had to tell your sins to some guy in a booth. when i asked why there was a patron saint for even toothaches, i was escorted to the hall, where i spent much time.

again, thanks for the classic post and for reminding me why i may have turned out the way i did!
