Flower power

The following is a true story.

I am scheduled to be on the WNCX St. Patty's Day Morning Show, which will broadcast live at the West Park Station. I will be on the air at about 7 a.m. EST.

I do not like to wear silly green things on St. Patty's day, but I did want to have a green flower for my lapel. I am booked up tomorrow, and really had to get the flower today. So I went to the shitty local grocery in hopes they would have some St. Patty's day flowers.

No effing chance.

But they did have one shitty bouquet that had a few little green flowers and one big yellow flower and a white carnation. The little green flowers didn't look so hot, but the mum and the carnation looked like they might last a couple of days. When I got home, I found the white carnation (for which I had the most hope out of the bunch) was nipped very near the blossom.

This photo demonstrates how I am tackling this situation:

I'll let you know how it works out.

You need to use much more food coloring than that. Trust me, I used to do this kinda shit ALL the time as a kid.

I'm totally surprised that with your love of hats, you don't have a big silly green hat with a shamrock on it. Or, perhaps you do, but you just want to wear it at a non~traditional time.
