Strange but true

I don't understand this, but sometimes I am at once deeply enough asleep to snore, but also awake enough to hear the snoring.

I experience this phenomenon mostly in the afternoon, if I take a few minutes to lie down on the couch.

Does this make me super-human or something? Am I just dreaming that I'm snoring?

NO-- You are not dreaming!! Afternoon or night, the only super human association with your snoring is it's VOLUME !!
Love you sweetheart :)

I agree it is the volume. At night I sleep deep enough I don't generally wake myself, but to nod off in the afternoon ... I constantly awaken myself.

My boyfriend snores. But oddly enough, I can sleep through the semi-truck-compression-braking-rumble snore. It's the little soft pfttt, pfttt snore that wakes me up and drives me up the wall. Odd that.

I don't snore, but the other night, I did somehow manage to bite my tongue in my sleep.

It still hurts.

I to the best of my knowledge, have not snored, belched, perspired and dog knows I have not snored...I do wet the bed and well everything else as well...I do wish my folks had not had my fart, snore, sweat and belch glands removed with my tonsils. Tragedy is a real bummer JW

That happens to me too. Maybe it's a mark of brilliance? Oh, yes, I think so. Tell the Goat it's not a snore, that's the sound of the nasal supercharger winding up. Gotta keep that great big brain fed with oxygen, babe.

That never happens to me, but once or twice my hubby smacked me for snoring and I woke up and went "Whaddayatalkinabout? I've been awake this whole time." Smrt.

You're not alone. I do that, too, and like you it generally happens during (nearly) nap times rather than night times.

My wife thinks it's one of the weirdest things about me. I have to tell her I found a famous person who does the same thing!

I've done that too, to the point where I actually feel myself snoring. And it's much more fun when it pees off the other people.

I cougth myself snoring a few times. Well at least you know its true if your Hubby tells you that you need to do something about your snoring ;)

My wife actually insisted that I go to a sleep lab to get this checked out.

The verdict? Anoying, but not really serious enough to treat with one of those CPAP O2 machines.

I've been told I snore like Shemp from the 3 Stooges.

Not only do I snore, but I TREAT SNORING! I should wear a tee shirt: "Ask me about radiofrequency uvulopalatoplasty!"

I suspect I'd get lots of hostile looks . . .
