Sugar man

"Searching for Sugar Man" captivated me from beginning to end (yes, the Goat like it too). It takes you from the underbelly of Detroit to Cape Town, South Africa, on the wings of Rodriguez, a mysterious and lyrical poet. The visuals were particularly compelling and the interview with Clarence Avant alone is worth the price of admission.

Afterwards, I was practically tripping over myself to download the soundtrack, which also did not disappoint.

Rodriquez, you can coo in my ear anytime.

This is the second blog on Sugarman, looks like I will have to move it to #1 in my Netflix queue. He looks like a man of mystery...
