Skull with one eyeball on the road.
Yes, dear reader, there really is such a thing as a ginormous gummi bear on a stick.
Please, have a seat.
Still life of "Leaf and Mysterious BIZARRO Product," (which was not, incidentally, open and that your humble hostess did not investigate despite smoldering curiosity because some things are just better left alone.)
Fire mobile.
Brownie mobile.
Goat and friend.
Mural on Waterloo Road in CLE's Collinwood neighborhood where Danny Greene's house went (ahem) KABOOM! in 1975.

I'm just a sweet transvestite? or Let's do the Time Warp again? or Science fiction double feature? or ... or ... or .... Oh hell, I take 'em all!
The beautiful and elusive Great North American Screw Tree.
Beef tongue and other delights.
And finally, the scariest sign of the season.

Hey Erin, did you take that pic of the szalonna at Dohar's? I hope you bought some and made speck.
I am sorry to say that I did not pick up any szalonna. Mebbe because I wasn't aet Dohar's, but at a Slovenian joint over in Collinwood. Not sure if I trust my speck to these guys, but their smoked Slovenian sausage sure was good.
Guess they only like Meatloaf in Canton? "I can see paradise by the refrigerator light."

Our neighborhood is full of scary signs like that. ARGH!
And now we are waiting for SANDY to blow the signs away . . . I am actually a little freaked out.
Erin-
PUH-leeeeze please please tell me you kept that skull?
When I was at Kent State picked up a mangled mannequin on trash day and I took it home.
I put it in a chair in the corner of the dinete in my apartment comlete with Hawaiian shirt, down vest and straw hat.
I left a note for my roomate telling him my friend 'Bob' was going to crash for a while, and don't be alarmed because he's kinda quiet...
Scared the fuck out of him when he came in...

O'brien, I like how that skull is trying to look under your shoe. Are you sure you didn't step in something, like some gum?
@ Dean-That skull is upset he didn't keep the other eye so he could peak up the skirt of the cheerleader outfit that Erin was wearing...

What are you going to do if Romney / Ryan win? Just curious.
Because I'm sorting out storm damage and generally don't feel like a bunch of political bullshit, I answered over at your place, Yabu.
How did you fare the storm??? Thinking of you...
Not too bad where I'm at. We've got one tree threatening a power line and a defunct gas lamp that fell over. And of course the general mess.
Luckily, we didn't lose power. We had plenty of roads closed along with the airport. Lil' OB didn't have school.
Things are calming down now.
Keep smilin' gang!
