Reagan is probably referring here to the Simpson-Mazzolli immigration reform act. Bi-partisan legislation. Not bloody likely to create something bi-partisan since the Congressional GOP has decided it's lot more fun to conduct themselves as insurrectionist clowns rather than as a loyal opposition.

I watched CBS's Bob Schieffer give Mittens a total pass on the HCR controversy last Sunday on "Face the Nation." It's unbelievable to me, but apparently, we are to believe that the Republican-borne solution of the individual mandate is Obama's SOCIALISM!

Local boy makes good. Issa first got into the car-alarm business in Garfield Heights. That's his voice on the Cobra car alarm system.
I very highly recommend Ryan Lizza's excellent profile of Issa in The New Yorker.
Issa's businesses had a very inconvenient habit of burning down for the insurance money. In at least one instance, right after some important documents and hardware had been removed from the building.
I suspect that's why Mr Issa's been rather circumspect since taking over this committee until now. Scorched skeletons in your closet tend to make one more reflective before casting aspersions on the motives of others.

Any regular reader of this here blog knows Bill is a troll that finds flaws with Obama, et al because they represent "The Left."(not to be confused with THE LEFT but that's another post.)Due to a weak mind and poor impulse control I regularly rise to his bait and the aforementioned post is no exception. The point obviously that if evoking Executive Privilege
indicates some sort of deception there has been ample modeling of deceptive behavior from recent GOP Presidents. It is also a matter of fact that a "Strong President" model has been the standard in the U.S. so it is sometimes appropriate for the Prez to say "Fuck you Congress, I'm The Prez." Yes, Bill Clinton sometimes said "Fuck You" or, in the alternative, "Wanna Fuck?"

Appreciate the link Bill but is there a message in their somewhere? Looks like the same old shit to me. U.S. operatives determine who the good guys are and give them guns then deny they've done it. Reckon they might inadvertently give a gun to someone who has less than U.S. interest in mind who might then use it to kill someone who may be more inclined to support U.S. interests? Or, in the alternative, a bunch of innocent people just trying to make it through another day. And then when a western journalist reports the story he will be excoriated by you and your right wing buddies as a member of the anti-American liberal media. You fuckers just don't get it, never did never will. Dump a bunch of weapons and ammo somewhere bad things happen. It's ok in (name of umpteen countries here) but not in Juarez? Clueless.
