What a badass Lotus. Colin Chapman, Lotus founder, is a hero of mine. He handbuilt cars starting in the late 50's from thin sheetmetal,fiberglass and used parts from the autojumble(brit junkyard) that dusted everything on the track for decades.
Coincidentally, I saw another rare Brit ride, a Rover Vitesse, at Walmart yesterday.
I'm not certain, even after going back and forth here on the internet comparing pictures, but that "face" in the top photo looks like it might be Christopher Lee, who played Dracula in the 1950s. A while back, you showed a picture of Bela Lugosi, who played Dracula in the 1930s, on another telephone pole. Is there a Dracula fan club in your neighborhood?
