Show me the money

Even I can't find my sense of humor in all of this. Until I do, here are three links for the smart people who are trying to make sense of it all:

Barry Eichengreen offers a brilliant and understandable commentary on the Great Depression and today's situation on CNN.

A comprehensive look at the demise of Glass-Steagall courtesy of PBS's Frontline.

An item in last month's New York Sun
explains how a 2004 Securities and Exchange Commission rule change may have been what broke the camel's back.

Greed is not good.

Greed is not good.

So fear is good?

It is as I have said a lot of greed and several decades in the making. Both sides are at fault.
