"When they can't attack the facts ..."? What facts?

I watched "Real Time with Bill Mahr" on Friday night and he threw out a nifty statistic: 61 percent of American's believe a man named Noah gathered all he animals, two-by-two (including the insects) put them on a boat and made them breed. Noah lived to be 900 and had a kid at 500.

This comes from the Republican fact book, The Bible.

I'm beginning to admire the Scientologists; at least the stuff they can't explain, they chalk it up to aliens. That makes as much sense as the invisible man in the sky.

I was gonna leave a comment, but you pretty much emasculated the idiot.
It would be nice if we could ignore idiots like this, unfortunately they seem to be far too many of them to do so, and they vote......

Uh...that's really whack...

it may seem 'whack' but it's reality. and sadly...and apparently...it's the opinion of half the population of the USA. yet no one "on the other side" understands why this election is so important...so what happens now? this seriously stresses me out (especially since i can't even vote, yet will be severely impacted by this election, although many think this election affects only U.S. citizens). i wrote to the Obama campaign (I'm on their mailing list) in response to their latest email about "talking to my neighbor" and explained that it's impossible to just call up people like this and have a normal (forget about persuasive) conversation (and to be honest, calling and knocking on doors is kinda archaic from the perspective of someone who doesn't answer their own phone or door (me) so what else do they suggest in terms of carrying out this very necessary conversation - online????????????????? we'll see if they respond.

KBYR talk radio host Eddie Burke admits he is a conservative and a "Palinista."

But on Wednesday Burke resorted to name calling when he found out Alaska Women Reject Palin planned to host a Saturday rally.

"They're a bunch of socialist maggots, that's what I'm going to call them -- socialist maggots, that's what they are, a bunch of socialist baby-killing maggots," said Burke.

KBYR, Alaska radio station.

I'm afraid I didn't resist the urge to comment over there.

Ah, well.

RJ - More proof that talk radio stops a thinking mind.
