**sigh**

A Monday morning thought: I would do anything to see this* in person.

*Update: After having fielded some comments, here is a sample of "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch, 1503. Click on the above link to view the entire work in high resolution.

oh yes, good old hieronymus bosch. we discovered his work recently and were blown away. it's bizarre, other- worldly, and nightmare inducing. we love it!

i am constantly amazed that this work was created in the 1500's. i also wonder about his personal life and mental state.

also, the birds freak me out!!!

I have always ♥'d Bosch and if you buy a great Dutch Brown Ale Import it may sport the same label from a portion of this painting. Tilburgs Dutch Brown Ale, I suggest drinking a few of Tilburgs Dutch Brown and studying a high def images of The Garden of Delights...Strong and crazy (as in, how did I escape being burned at the stake for painting this crazy but cognizant enough to know he could be stoking his own heretic pyre, other than the church used such imagery to the illiterate. Mel Gibbson is a fart in a whirlwind compared to Bosch.
An old recipe for control of the mass's:

1:One dash of a painting by Bosch.

2: One dash demagogue (every generation) and we have world power.

Send all tithes to me Kind Regards
