I Love the Buckets! Would make a great installation at an art museum. No shit! (Your readers are probably thinking I need to stick my head in a bucket.)

Jolly good mate. I didn't know today was talk like a pirate day. Or is every day in Cleveland devoted to the maritime dialects?

A nymphomaniac with her own brewery!

Throw in a blindfold and a trust fund, and you are the perfect woman.

Yeah, what Velvet Frog said.

Those sealed ingredient totes look like food pellets I've seen fed to gerbils, which look the same when they come out the other end later ...

Icky.

Hops in the tubs, a natural preservative adds bitterness to offset the sugars.I was a home brewer but could not keep up with demand so I just buy the stuff off the shelf.
Four ingredients permitted in beer, to be called beer in Germany. Water, yeast, hops and barley. No rice, no corn nothing but those four magical ingredients. Fresh beer is like fresh food, it is the best way, the only way...I could go on and on but I am a kind man.

Very nice! The exotic beer ingredients remind me of when I was in Amsterdam.

I wonder if they'd make me my own beer, even if I don't live there ... hmmm .... maybe ...

Al's Ale
Paratrooper Porter
Hangul Hefe (in honor of my time in Korea)
Iraqi India Pale Ale (in honor of my Iraq tour)

Label pictures could include the pic of me under the crossed sabers in the Green Zone, in downtown Itaewon in Seoul, or somewhere here on Fort Bragg. It would be a big seller, I'm sure ... yeah, right. Nice pix, Erin.

I like how in that last pic the camera perspective makes it look like you're this little tiny person packing this huuuuuge bottle of beer.

Oh, wait...

The photo with the buckets is from when you stepped into the decanting lab from Brave New World?? Scary . . .

I couldn't tell you what we put in that beer for love or money.

After any number of ciders, we began engaging in the "boobie squash" hugs, of which I did not get a picture as I was participating.

Probably best, that.

The beer came out pretty good, too.

My wife was going to get me a brew session at the Kettle for my birthday. The waiting list would've put me on schedule for January '09. We know some people over there and they told her that they'd bump me up a few months, though. She asked me if I'd want to do it (it costs a pretty penny).

I had to honestly decline because, when it comes to beer, I want it NOW! I know several people that brew their own and it really doesn't appeal to me. I don't know why. I'd rather sit at the bar, order the Ringneck Porter and a pulled pork sandwich and kick back.

(too much measuring and chemistry, I guess).

Glad to see you're supporting the Kettle, though. That place is a gem!
