Your hostess is busy plucking the holiday goose (or something like that)

Not my usual fare, but these items got my attention:

Google wants to be my word processor.

Maybe the new ebooks ARE more than they're cracked up to be.

Whew. Good thing my book is available on Kindle! But if you wanted to buy one of Amazon's nifty new ebook readers, you'll have to wait. They are currently out of stock. Imagine that.

The first incarnation of Google Docs was painful, but it works pretty well now.

That Kindle thing is too big, and too expensive. It's like the original brick-sized cell phones that had four minute talk time. It'll get better.

Weird that you end up with the book being in stock, but the reader out. That's weird.

I remember when my dad came home with his first four function calculator in the early 1970s. It was about 6 by 4 inches and had cost $400. We were all so amazed by it.

Ha!

Yes, methinks the Kindle will get better.

I remember the calculators, from olden time's. Me thinks you are correct. I find tech stuff trying, I use the wait until a moron can use it, then I bite.

I suppose you already had guessed my moron technique. Cheers JW
